Step 1 delivers a potent concentration of lactic, glycolic, and other Alpha Beta® acids combined with the enzymatic action of bromelain to effectively resurface the skin and jumpstart the renewal process. Step 2 contains centella asiatica, green tea extract, and colloidal oatmeal to help restore a radiant complexion, help correct signs of aging and keep skin balanced. For AM or PM use, up to three times a week. Prepare Step 1 by placing cotton ball firmly over bottle opening and making two 3-second turns to dispense the proper amount. Massage cotton ball onto clean, dry skin until it’s dry, avoiding contact with eyes. Wait two minutes. Repeat the process with Step 2 – do not rinse. Use sunscreen daily.
1 - Lactic / Glycolic Acid: Our lactic acid is sourced from fermented beet sugar, and glycolic acid is naturally derived from sugar cane. These two alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) detach dead skin cells ready to shed, exfoliate skin’s surface, and accelerate cell turnover for a more even texture and radiant complexion. Additionally, lactic acid hydrates by stimulating moisturization factors in skin to prevent trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). The outcome: visible signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots are reduced, and skin complexion is brighter and smoothe –never stripped.
2. Bromelain: A fruit enzyme derived from pineapple that digests the skin’s dead proteins (such as broken down collagen), exfoliates revealing a younger and more even layer of skin.
3. Centella Asiatica Extract: Also known as gotu kola or tiger grass, this medicinal herb is widely used in traditional Asian medicine as well as in Ayurvedic medicine, for the treatment of skin diseases and for wound healing. This extract has antioxidant properties and helps protect skin’s moisture barrier.
